Industrial

With the current scarce availability and exorbitant cost scenario of QUARTZ sand, most of the industries who use Mineral sands as their basic raw materials are looking our for a better cost effective substitute for Quartz sand.

GRANOSILICA has replaced Quartz sand as a Better and Cost effective substitute to various industrial sectors and most of the renowned companies across these sectors have already switched over to Granosilica thus adding up to their profit margins without compromising on the quality of their products.

Cost saving and Quality consistency adds to the Bottom line of every industry. Saving on input cost is  a perennial exercise which every industry does on a day to day basis .

Granosilica consist of sub-rounded to sub-angular granules of sand particles suited ideally  for industrial applications such as Adhesive, Grouts, Epoxies, Dry mix mortar, Texture Paints, Water proofing, Sealants, Sand blasting, Glass , Iron Foundries, etc.

Uses

Adhesives & Grouts

Granosilica is used to improve durability of adhesives due to low water absorption, high permeability and its strength.

Dry Ready Mix Mortar

Granosilica which is a moisture free graded sand is an excellent admixture for dry mix mortar as it leads to better engineering properties

Epoxies

In the epoxy flooring industry one of the most commonly used minerals is quartz sand. Granosilica is perfect replacement as an anti-slip aggregate and structural bonding

Waterproofing

Granosilica has the perfect strength and consistency to decrease the permeability in pozzolanic reactivity refining the cement paste pore structure

Sealants

To increase the product viscosity, Granosilica improves anti-settling properties during storage, control the extrusion properties during application and impart anti-sag properties during cure.

Textured Paints

Mixing Granosilica into textured paint is an inexpensive way to add strength and look to your walls.

Sand Blasting

Granosilica can be used as abrasive material to remove impurities from surfaces; this is because sand particles are almost the same particle size

Glass

Granosilica is the primary source of silicon dioxide that is essential in the manufacture of coloured glass. To be suitable for producing coloured  glass, there must be a low proportion of silica.

Iron Foundries

Foundries use a clean, well graded sand to produce moulds for the production of metal castings.  Foundry applications are by far the most demanding of sand. For mould or core making, the sand is mixed with a chemical bind.
